Welcome to the home of Wilhelmina Wendeline Wylie, but you can call her Willa. 21,485 visits (17 today, 122 this week, 485 this month, 1,777 this year, 23 yesterday. Best day was 9,372 visitors.) ![]() |
Willa had quite a background of careers before settling into the laundry business, citing her most reknowned as her stint as a barwench at the Spider's Web Tavern (the pub owned by her mother), where she was so good that she became known worldwide at the Web! However, now Willa is a tried-and-true washer wench, adoring the attention she gets from knowing all the latest dirt about the locals. She's quite chatty and has been known to be a bawdy lass. But Willa inherited her father's keen business sense (as well as the washer well with her father's passing). She runs a fun but tight ship at the well and lives to be able to share her knowledge with others. Willa has a penchant for sighing wistfully after the lads in the kilts, and also for just chasing after them if they didn't hear her sighs. She's got quite a mixed heritage with a bit of Scottish, French and English tossed together for spice. Her cockney accent comes from growing up with her Mum in England, whom Willa dearly loves. Although Willa tends to be a bit on the flirtatious side (good thing this is being typed, so you can't see the way I'm laughing as I type that!), her heart will always belong to John-Paul, the bud stud who wanders the village selling roses to the romantically challenged. Although she loves JP dearly, she is reluctant to marry and lose her business. However, she still has her womanly urges to settle down. Someday, she'll get her wish and JP will only have eyes for her. Until then, she'll enjoy all of the other eyes that seem to be drawn her way!
If you'd like to, please introduce yourself to Willa by sending her an e-mail! (In sooth, Willa is known as Lindsy, mother of two young boys and devoted girlfriend to the man who holds the key to her heart. She gets great pleasure from writing short stories and poetry (and skits!) as well as anything faire-related she can get involved in. She can be found at several of the Midwestern festivals this season as a performer with the Washer Well Wenches, a comedy wench troupe she founded last October.) |
