IMPORTANT: Avatars are available to all message board members, but only Pub Club members are able to upload custom avatars. If you are not a Pub Club member you will not see the upload option in your control panel.

Huzzah! Avatars are now handled by our message board software. Log in to your account and use Your Control Panel to upload and choose your avatar picture. If you do not see this option, you do not have access to this feature.

How to do it:

First, some quick avatar guidelines: Your avatar file should be 10K in file size or less. If the picture is too large, you won't be able to upload it. Also, the image size should be around 64x64, though as of this most recent update you can actually use larger images. Perhaps 128x128 is the new limit?

Got your avatar ready? Good... Let's begin!

Step 1: Select Your Control Panel. This will bring up your control panel.

Step 2: From your control panel, select the Personal Info tab. This will bring up your personal information tab in your control panel.

Step 3: If you have access to upload custom avatars, you will see a section called Your avatar which has a button labeledChoose File. Click on Choose File and browse to your avatar picture (.gif, .jpg, etc.).

Step 4: If it worked, you will see the filename of your avatar file next to the Choose File button. If it didn't work... Try it again ;-) (Obviously it worked for me or I couldn't have made these pictures.)

Step 5: Now go up to the Please select an avatar section and scroll down until you find your newly uploaded avatar. It will be named something like "upload_" with your filename at the end.

Step 6: Enjoy your new avatar. Now feel free to help other Pub members get theirs uploaded! :-)
