ATF (with the help of the lovely Lady Ampersand and her handsome
bard, James) managed to collect $144 to be donated to the New York Firefighters
Scholarship Fund to help the children left behind in the wake of the
attacks.

She's seen the dancing scene in the movie, right?
- Group Shot
Play a game of "Count the Rennies"! And each and every one
of them had their meal paid for by JP. Doesn't that make you want to
show up at our next outing?

We bought one of each style, simply because that was the year Willa
started attending IRF!

- ATF's First Evidence of the Existance
of Willa After JP and I started dating, I went back to
look through the photos he had taken of the various faires we'd been
to at the same time without knowing each other. Oddly, I found a photo
with me in it from the 1997 Iowa Renaissance Faire! (Of course, I wasn't
Willa back then.)
- John-Paul Finally in His Own Photo Gallery!
Here's a picture of JP at IRF in '98 with Lucy and
Marco. For many years, JP took the photos of himself out of the gallery.
Now, he likes it when his photo is on the front page of the site ;)
- JP & Willa, Together at Last
Our very first date was a weekend at KCRF in 1999.
I'll have to write an article on that someday. For now, here is the
first faire photo of us together.

We're big fans of wine, and nothing loosens up the
ol' inhibitions than a nice glass at faire! We've tasted some really
good stuff, but we'd have to say that our favourite is Renaissance Red.

- Rufus the Rude we don't
really know how to explain Rufus, but here he is nonetheless. Taken

- Her Royal Highness, Queen Verity
the ultimate of ladies, Queen Verity is the person solely responsible
for Willa's desire to be a rennie. Taken at IRF 1998
- Muddy Kisses when we first
met our beloved friend, he was walking around KCRF toting a sign saying
"Kisses 1¢. Remember it's the French Weekend." And it

this is Willa's favourite faire photo. Merlyn is not only a master
magician, but he can make the most fearsome faces! And that troll can

retired from performing, so we wanted to put this photo up to let him

- Lunch with an Outlaw The Hamlet
of Slater (now renamed to Hamlet of Mid-Missouri) gave us the opportunity
to hang out with Robin Hood, throw food at the evil sheriff and consume
a feast fit for royalty!
