THE BILL FORMERLY KNOWN AT RUFAS THE RUDE

It's official. We got word from the man himself. Rufas the Rude has retired.

Bill, the man pictured to the left there with myself, played the character for many years and was equally loved and despised by everyone. What are we going to do without the belching and plastic fish?

Oh that's right...we won't feel the urge to gag quite so much...

It was a very odd scene when we came upon him in his usual spot, spinning the wheel at KCRF. His hair was shorn and his beard was gone. And, alas, I have to admit that he is very handsome. It seems that with the loss of his Rufas-ness, he's also now able to be nice! I know, I know. I'm still in shock, myself.

Rufas, you will be missed. You added a lot of colour to the festivals. Keep in touch! Enjoy a few of our favourite pics of Rufas from various faires...
