This is the photo that started it all -- the very first renaissance festival picture taken by John-Paul (before he even owned his first floppy hat).

Welcome to the all new At The Faire (dot com)! We hope you enjoy the latest incarnation of the site (version 2.0) and will help spread the word about the update. Many new features have been added, including regularly updated stories and news articles, as well as an expansion of all our existing sections. In addition, we hope to slowly expand our coverage to sites outside of just the midwest.

And so it began...again!

January 1, 2001 - Des Moines, Iowa based "AtTheFaire.com" launched a major update to their renaissance festival related web site today. The site, which is owned and operated by Lindsy Johnson and Allen Huffman, was formed in April 2000 as a place to display thousands of digital picturess taken at midwest renaissance festivals. In addition to the photos, a growing index of festival performers and merchants is available.

For 2001, AtTheFaire.com has been completely redesigned to make the site easier to use and more visually appealing. Additions to the site's content include regular news updates and articles, as well as the inclusion of coverage for events outside of the midwest. A new multimedia gallery has opened which will eventually contain hundreds of video clips from festivals around the country.
